"The Last of the Mohicans" is a 1992 historical epic film directed by Michael Mann. It is an adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's novel of the same name, set during the French and Indian War in 1757. The film follows the intertwining lives of three characters - Hawkeye, a white frontiersman raised by Native Americans, Cora, a British officer's daughter, and Uncas, the last surviving member of the Mohican tribe.
