Wilt Chamberlain (1936-1999) was an American professional basketball player who is widely considered one of the greatest in the history of the sport. Standing at 7 feet 1 inch tall, Chamberlain dominated the game with his incredible physical attributes and dominant playing style. He played for the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during his career, which spanned from 1959 to 1973.
