Entrepreneurship as a Career

A career in entrepreneurship is not for the weak of heart. Oh, but if you are a good planner, implementer, executor, friend, idea person, inventor, entrepreneurially alert/active, or possess any other similar attribute you can be one.

Even if we spent an entire day writing, we couldn’t possibly include all of a person’s entrepreneurial traits. They are very psychological in nature. Individual entrepreneurial traits can develop from infancy. One’s interest in entrepreneurship may also be demonstrated by being active and less interested in formal education.

Entrepreneurship is not like getting a job based on how well you do in exams and interviews. Entrepreneurship is a field with its own difficulties; it is not the same as practicing medicine or engineering. There are various reasons why people do not choose entrepreneurship easily.

Start-ups and entrepreneurship can take many different forms and shapes. These companies differ from the ones that are already in existence in many ways. Startups attempt to address issues they observe. Entrepreneurs that create these start-ups are passionate and skilled in their comprehension of these ideas.

Starting a business makes sense instead of doing a job since it demonstrates the way to new ideas, national growth, and prosperity. Small businesses, technology-driven enterprises, and enormous corporations, such as unicorns with a valuation of more than $1 billion, can all be considered startups if they fit in the definition for start-ups. Start-ups are crucial to future progress because they find solutions to issues that have hampered the development of nations all over the world.

It is shown in research that more than 97 percent start-ups fail in a timeline of 5-7 years. This kind of mortality makes it risky to accept entrepreneurship as a career. But people are turning up.

The perception of doing a business is changing and people are getting involved. Only in India if we look at the data, more than 85 thousand start-ups are now registered with government and that only in last 7 years. It is all because of the enthusiasm among the people.

Entrepreneurs are significant for their contribution to society, economy and employment. If we discuss about the economic values, start-ups enhance countries growth by good numbers and provides a launchpad for new businesses in the country.
