The Right Way to Make a Big Career Transition

• The first step is to ask yourself why you want to change your career and risk a secure job that is your bread and butter.

The ambition of having a thousand true fans(preferably paying customers) is more pragmatic and also more likely to happen.

• Expect people to reject your work, and don’t get bogged down by multiple rejections.
• Remember that you just need one door to be opened for you even if ninety-nine doors are slammed shut on your face.
• At the same time, it is good to be realistic and not set any impossible timeframes.
• Small actions compound over time, so we need to build a consistent routine with failsafe measures.
• You can also have a Plan B if things do not work out.
