Po sérii lékařských vyšetření se potvrdilo, že zranění břišního svalu si vyžádá delší dobu rekonvalescence. Z tohoto důvodu jsem se dnes omluvil kapitánovi z účasti na nadcházejícím daviscupovém utkání. Velmi mě to mrzí, do Jihlavy jsem se těšil, nicméně do termínu utkání se nestihnu plně zotavit. Věřím v úspěch týmu, který budu podporovat alespoň na dálku, a těším se na další domácí reprezentační zápas na podzim, již s mou účastí. After a series of medical examinations, it has been confirmed that my abdominal muscle injury will require a longer period of recovery. For this reason, I informed the team captain today that I will not be able to take part in the upcoming Davis Cup tie. I am very disappointed, as I was really looking forward to playing in Jihlava, but unfortunately I will not be fully fit in time.
