The definition of a One Person Agency is not what you might think. it isn’t that it’s only you doing all the design work but rather it’s that you are not a traditional business
As a one person agency you get more flexibility and capability in generating more income and expanding your business
You don’t have full time employees but rather you hire and fire people when you need to
The first decision that you have to make is what type of Agency do you want to be
They are 2 types of agencies you can make
Marketing: Things like Google ads, Email marketing, SEO
Design: Things like Graphic Design, product design and web design
When you start a one person agency you have a lot of work that you will need to do. So it is smart to start outsourcing and automating your tasks for instance, Billing, marketing and the actual design or SEO work
It is important to learn as you go, learning skills can help you to make sure you have a successful business. Some skills you will need are

No matter what agency you run it will be your job to make sure you find clients! That will be the only way that your business survives. They are many ways to find clients but you need to be actively looking and finding new clients.
